Day 1
My story starts as it always does, the day before the event. I gathered up the Pop-Up, Tanjah and Blu (my two scouts for this mission, my Dogs, lol) and head over to Boss Paintball Field/Gold Diggers. Per my conversation with our Commander (The Hun) I would be leading the Koreans against the Allied Force via the back tapeline. After a brief discussion with Hun and throwing up the tent, the dogs and I go out and walk our new AO (Area of Operation), then head back home. Once there Abnotic, Killa and myself prep our weapons and gear for the next day.
Day 2
The next mourning we awake, run over grab a bite to eat and finally end up at the field.
Once there, we finish setting up our camp and move our FTOC equipment in to place. Then we sit back and wait.
0930
We move over to the Commander Tent and receive our safety and mission briefings. I find out that my Korean force in made up of Abnotic, Killa and myself. WOW only three guyz to hold the entire right flank. I assign Abnotic a special mission, he is to move out at the horn to a flag station number #4, he is to flip this flag and hold off the entire Allied force as long as he can “ALONE”, until he is relieved by another full strength element that was suppose to be less than 2mins behind him. Killa is assigned to flip flag station number #1. Then both are to rejoin me near the tapline on the far right side of the field.
1000 – Game On
Well to their credit both Killa and Abnotic, accomplish their missions…unfortunately, Abnotic’s relief never shows up. So instead on having a full sized unit, the three of us end up being basically a Special Operations unit and send the bulk on our day running missions. Our original assignment would lead us to the backside of the Allied Force near the rear of New Town to conduct operations against the enemy Command Post. While in route we get a call from Hun telling us to be on the look out for parts a VS rocket, which Killa finds at the exact same moment. I ask Killa and Abnotic to hold this position as I run the part back to Command. Next was my worst showing of the day. I allow us to get taking out by a single guy using a pump marker (not to take anything away from the Allied Soldier, he did a great job against us), but I was out of position and using the equipment we had the wrong way. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but a good lesson to learn. Everything happens for a reason however cause as I’m running back I located another piece of the rocket…I run by it and head back to the CP, drop my weapon and gear, barrow another guyz mask ( so I wouldn't have to clean mine) and run back to the that other piece. I return with it. By now I am rejoined by Killa and Abnotic and we’re off again, I’m given another mission to place posters up on the Guard towers sometime thought out the day. So we move out again headed toward the backside of the Allied CP, on our way we check two the of the flag stations #1 it's still our but #4 has fallen. We are engaged by the troops protecting the aforementioned flag station. While in contact with these Targets I get a call from Hun…yet another mission, I was to move back to flag station #1 and receive a camera and move to the other side of the field to take a picture of the Washington DC/Fire Base Alpha. During this time The other two members of Boxer (Abnotic and Killa – Their brother by the way) are fighting it out with I don’t know how many people and finally succumb to superior numbers…I am alone as I move through the enemy lines and finally getting to me target area. I take out the camera and “click” the dang thing doesn’t work. I get on the horn and call Hun…he send up a Referee, to find me and sign our mission card. I work my way back though New Town and find no one there, while there I get a kill via surrender, I move over through Old Town and flip two more flags #5 and then # 3. I’m then taken out by about four or five guyz as I try to defend flag station #5. I move off field clean up and reinsert.
I’m back at the CP now, I move out with the Lost Boyz, up the left flank and we meet the Allied force at Old Town, we end up bogged down there, but we did take out building with the rocket launcher. After getting shot out yet again, I finally get back together with Abnotic and Killa in the Safe Area/Air Station, were just about to break for lunch when we do a time check we find out we have about 20min to the next flag count. So we decide to go back in until we get shot out one more time. It was a lucky decision cause the three of us, plus Taylen, Darrel and Darrel Jr. along with some other are able to take Old Town (flag station #3) and flag station #5. (Proud moment #2)
1300 – After lunch Break
Upon arrival to the CP we find our Base under attack. So we are order to eliminate the threat. So the three of us move out and clear the woods to the south sweep through the woods to the North/West and clear the woods…nice work guyz (Proud moment #3).
We’re then sent to down the left tapeline to hold back a Allied push on that flank we meet with Rev of Rogue Cell and we spend much of the afternoon game there.
Not Sure of Time Line
We were able to get the Posters on the Guard towers. (Got the points)
We were able to get the satchel charge on the Town Hall. (Not sure if we got the points)
And another few Pych-Op moments, to include using my water bottle as a decoy.
The Final Battle
The winner of the final battle would win the game.
We are again assigned to the far right tapeline. This time there are six of us, Red Bull, Darrel Jr., Abnotic, Killa, Taylen and myself. (My proudest moment)
These young men showed so much self-discipline, if all of us preformed as such we would all be better for it.
I had spoken to them before the shooting started. Telling them that we would needed to protect our side/right flank. That we must not get killed and that if we had to fall back we would fall back away from the base. Telling them that we would be the Axis’ last hope. As we stood and watch the rest of our side fold and our CP fall. It was just as we had thought. We rallied up behind some cover and decided on a plan. We would wait until the final minute or so to make a bonzi charge on the Base, we moved into position, referee called out 2min, the plan was to go at 1min, but he never did say it and by my watch will still had a three minutes left. Oh well the best laid plans.
The Outcome
The Allied Won 2200
The Axis Lost 1700
