Runaway, read this entire article.....it goes into the benefits of the expansion chamber during the middle of the article...............so yes, it does help. But great article on CO2 and Compressed Air. It does seem like the article is a little old....LOL, cause I believe all fields have N2O by now. www.specialopspaintball.com/articles/Co2orN2.asp

Seoul You have ask some of the best questions, just remember that. I bet there was someone else out there that reads and didn't know himself, so, keep the questions flowing.
hey Runaway, Will that regulator be for the DT, and if so, I think your still gonna have some freeze up issue due to your rate of fire.
I think what would help in respect to the CSW's functionality would be an awareness of the rate of fire in regards to the whom evers firing it. Along with like you said a upgrade such as a Expan- Chamber or regulator
Remember the rates of fire for the Machine Guns.
The Sustain rate:would be use when continuous fire is needed of desired for long periods of time. This is your lowest rate of fire.
The Effective rate: The rate at which a weapon would typically be used in battle, Given small time for cooling, reloading and proper effective use I.E breathing, aiming, would normally be your only breaks. Alway lower than Cyclic Rate.
The Cyclic rate: Your highest rate of fire, deals with the weapon system operating at it fastest possible rate of fire without mag changes. Your assault rifles when the trigger is squeezed give a cyclic rate of about 500-800 RPM, infantry machine gun vary at 600 to 1200 RPM and the infamous mini guns mounted on little birds and Apaches average a rate of 100 per second or 6000 RPM. Devastating!!!
