Well to say the least we got our butts handed to us by Red-6, RogueCell, BeBop, Krisis and who ever else was on that side of the field(Red Army), I heard some guyz on our side talking about cheatin and wipin paint, I didn't personally see any cheatin, but that may have very well happened. But I will say this "That is not the reason we lost. We lost because on that field that, that day the better team won!" So to the above mentioned teams.... "Great Work"

We all worked hard and did what we had to do if not anything it something to learn from. As I said in the main site good job to the Red team. Blue we did a good job of holding them off as long as we did. Until next time gentlemen!

X-Man and I are walking the field to see what changes have been made and talk strategy- this Saturday 18 Aug, at 0800. I will be at the field the Friday night before to set up but will not camp as my grandson lives in Winston-Salem and I will get to hang with "the kids" for a while.

Recon-1’s push on the left tape line is important because it will pose a constant threat to the Red’s base. Red-6 will have to decide on focusing on Fort Sheehan , running missions, or defending his base… The challenge for Recon-1 is to avoid getting sucked into a fight for the low ground along the stream bed, once in that low ground you can become the proverbial ducks in a barrel. We should allow the Reds to occupy that space and use it as a killing ground.
It’s critical Phoenix gain and keep control of the River bed on the tapeline closest to our base… The Red’s will have a straight shot to Fort Sheehan if we cannot hold this sector. Beyond that If Phoenix can gain control of the high ground above that point we will have a commanding position as we will be able to observe their base and recharge point. This also creates the possibility of a second axis of attack just below the crest of the high on a parallel course to the stream.
Buffalo will hold the right flank and support the actions of Phoenix in the stream bed. If Phoenix gains the high ground Buffalo will immediately reinforce Phoenix and the stream bed strong point. As a secondary mission, Buffalo will try to recon along the road to the secondary bridge. This should help in spotting if the Reds are massing for an attack in the middle...
The middle of the field will be an economy of force action. The middle represents the most open terrain on the field... The unit in the middle must employ a reverse slope defense so as to hide their numbers from the Reds. They must also put out a screening force to provide early warning of any significant move in the middle. This force must also be prepared to support Recon-1s attack on the left side; however they can only leave their positions if we have forced the build of the reds to fight on their half of the field. Otherwise the Reds will be able to split our forces.
We must use the terrain to our advantage, force the Reds to fight uphill all day, if it is hot and humid all the better. Hopefully Recon-1s attack will put pressure on the Reds and detract their attention from Sheehan. Here’s the nugget in our plan, which ever way Red6 goes he exposes his flank to our forces. If he is strong on one part of the field it means he has an open flank.. his only option is to attack on multiple accesses which means he can never effectively mass his forces.
