I went out yesterday and shot our Double Trouble Alpha~five, we have installed two
Flatline Barrels and two 450rd hoppers, this well give them added range and 900rds of ammo. As far as I know this was the first time it was ever shot and it worked great. But the equipment itself it was very heavy. As I imagined someone having to hump that beast all day, I’m sure some of you guyz could do it, but the question is would that be smart. I personally think that it would not make sense to do that. In my opinion “No”, I would opt to use this setup (the 900rds & two C02/HPA tanks), only when it’s mounted on a Tank. If where simply going to use it as one of our Heavy Guns, I would suggest that the operators go with the following setup, two 250rd Hoppers, Remote Line and as big an C02 and HPA tank as you can. With your extra paint/pods split up among the rest of your squad members.
That got me thinking about equipment and loadouts. I’m interested in everyone’s thoughts on this subject. This is, I believe critical to my next point, it’s important that everyone know the different roles not only the one your playing, but your should know and understand the role that other Squad members as well, understanding everyone's role will make us a stronger team and should someone go down or doesn’t show for a game, someone else can step in to the role more easily.
