(AM Session)
Well I know it a lil late for this "After Action Report" (AAR). But here goes. My mission started the night before the event. After watching a movie(Blackhawk Down of course)we finally settle down to sleep. Killa and Kent heard something in the bush, I went to check it out but I found nothing, what ever it was I guess it ran off.
The next morning we awoke and had breakfast, as the shooter's began to arrive. I began to prepare our equipment as the General met with other members of the Somalian Army. Soon after we were called to our safety briefing and onto to the field of battle, but not me I was still trying to get my guns to pass, as my CO began to call for me...the war had started without me! Once I finally got over to our CP I was order down to the main trail that divided the field Code Name Buffalo, this was the area the CO and I had decided would be the most important, and must be held at all cost. After spending much of the morning moving troops from here to there to stop the attackers, I finally got hit and had to head over to the reentry area. Once back at the CP the General turned and said to me 'You ready for a suicide mission" I of course said "YEAH"..after spending the whole morning playing it safe and contently be told by command to stay out of the fight I was ready for a lil action. Marco had somehow gotten within 6ft of the American Base and General and Command wanted me to launch an attack toward New Town to draw the American away from their base, this would give Marco a chance to strike! So I headed off with Krisis, Werewolf and a few others to cause some trouble. We rushed New Town and I shouted out "Tag each building" (bunker tags), we blew though the town with little or no lost of personal. I radioed Command and was order to push the attack toward the American CP. As we crested the ridge I looked up and saw a bunch of people standing inside the base in a semi-circle...
Someone says "They don't even know we're here!"
I replied "Everybody pick a zone -- Open fire!!!"
Werewolf says "But there gonna know were here!"
I say "I know!" as I pulled out my pistol.
I lead the attack from the front as I look to my right I see team Krisis in their all black uniforms and they are knocking people down left and right. And on the left Werewolf and the Conscripts are doing the same. "Beautiful"
Somehow I'm able to get in close enough to make a bunker tag on their CP, I lay there on my back trying to catch my breath while paint few over my body, we soon push the rest of the American from the field. We now controlled their CP! We should have held the base but I could not talk the other people there with me to stay. In turn I am left with only 5 people and we are forced to snake out under fire.
Not holding that base cost us, the American were able to fly a helo out and ram it into the Radio Station. These were the only points that I know of the American gaining, Wolf had stopped the shipment and we had recovered the Pilot. As for Buffalo we were able to hold the Americans at bay keeping them from any serious push across it.
(PM)
It was much the same as the AM session, we fought over the Pilot who Marco found downed behind one of the building in New Town. We held our position for an 1:45 as we weren't allowed to move him. Once cleared to extract YellowJacket pulled the Pilot out under a hail of bullets and gave him to Werewolf to deliver to the General. Now the only thing we had left to do was hold our base as well as the Pilot....No Problem!
As stated before the American ever really pushed beyond Buffalo, without the help of the Helos and with the rule change at first the Door Gunner was allowed to shoot at us but we weren't allowed to return fire(now he had to wait until the Chopper was on the ground before he could shoot). They flew two Helos into our base camp and dropped there guyz the fight lasted less than 2min and we had killed them all. Anyway I had a great time we won by the score of 2350 to 1250(or something like that)~end
