Another scenario at Boss...

We're not sure on the date yet, but we're going to be putting on another scenario out at Boss Paintball sometime in mid-January. We're about 95% positive on what the scenario is going to be about, once we get all the fine details hammered out you guys will be one of the first to know about it.

Also, as always, we're going to need a General again...

Alright, I have a few more specs about the game:

Its going to be called Operation: Shining Shield. Its the start of WWIII with U.S. led coalition forces vs. North Korean DPRK.

As of right now (some of these things MIGHT change, I'll let you guys know once we get the full advertising up all the set in stone specifics), its scheduled for January 26th from 10-5. There will be event specific t-shirts included in registration, we will be utilizing the orange smoke as chemical warfare, there will be specialized roles for each side, etc...

This is going to be a lot more complex game than Blackhawk Down and Ghostbusters, the final outcome of the game is going to depend on which missions are completed on either side throughout the day.

Kent, if you're interested in Generaling this game, let me know so we can talk about it.

As far as sides, The Hun and the guys from Recon-1 were talking about playing Korean.

Also as a side note, we're going to *TRY* to get the field prepped for armor before this game. Clyde got a Bobcat and we're going to be widening the roads and adding trenches and the like out there.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I don't know about that weekend, I believe that's a Duty weekend (work that Saturday), for myself and most of our NCO's. I'll have to check. "Is that Go Date Set In Stone?"

I'm pretty sure thats the weekend Clyde is wanting to do it. Namely due to the fact that hes trying to avoid hitting Super Bowl, and some other events that would deter people from coming out. I'll double check though.

As I was just telling one of our other players, (6) of our NCO's and myself are the only people scheduled to work, so there really is no option to take the day off, plus their children would also be missing I count about 15 core members that would not be able to make this event plus the T~1.

We have thought it over and that date is really a bad date for Boxer. We'd like for you and Clyde to consider moving the date. If you cant we understand.

We may still have people there to support the Charlotte Alliance but I wont general.

Well from talking to Mike today, Clyde has the 26th set in stone... I'll try and talk to him directly, but I wouldn't count on anything changing.

As a side note, we're going to be doing a LOT of additions to the field before the game, so look out for some new stuff.
